I'm a proud owner of my business called "Jo's Wiggly Pancake Mixes Inc." Back in January of 2004, I took initiative, to transform a three generation pancake recipe into a reality. With perseverance, and a lot of confidence and a goal in mind, I knew this pancake mix was going to be a huge success.

I aired on Television on the new RO Breakfast show here in Ottawa on November 9th, 2004 and on April 8, 2005. I also had an article in the Ottawa Citizen on March 5th, August 23, 2005, and just had another article in the Ottawa Business Journal on June 12, 2006, and another article in "Le Droit" newspaper on September 29, 2006, which was and is a great exposure for all of Canada to see.

These pancakes are different than all of the ones on the market. They are original, unique concept, thin, wiggly, no added preservatives, taste and look different, and may even cook them two different ways such as in oil (deep fried) or margarine/butter like a crêpe. The taste is like beavertails and donuts.

My slogan is "Parents are happy to buy them, and children just love to eat them".

The specialty of these pancakes is that, I have the "original" ones and my creation of the "Wholewheat" pancake mix for consumers to enjoy a variety of these delicious pancakes. This concept will have multiple expansion possibilities, all over Canada in no time.

I have now created my third pancake mix, that is very healthy, great tasting and cooks like a regular pancake. You are also able to make muffins and waffles with the mix. This pancake mix is recommended by the "Holistic Cooking Academy of Canada (with Chef Lori Nichols-Davies).
